Trick-Eyed Pancakes on a ride.

HEY GUYS! This post will be about a peek into a few of the more exciting days of my mundane life... where I spent my day with Genevieve @ Sentosa & other places! It was a fun-filled day with many special discoveries... they were all fun discoveries, of course. :D Get ready for a detailed post littered with lots of photos! Trust me, we took over 200+ pics that day...

So I woke up late. As usual. HAHAHHA okay but seriously I tried to wake up early. Keyword: tried. Then I quickly woke up and went to bathe etc. before leaving the house to meet Gen and her mom at Clem. They so nicely waited for me, and when I arrived (they were having breakfast at macs) I scared them by whispering 'Hi' behind them. They literally jumped out of their seats omg so funny.

After that Gen's mum left and we immediately headed to Sentosa via the Circle Line. We went shopping first (typical girls) then we bought some stuff... And we went to the pet store on the top floor also, there was a puppy-eyed golden retriever. His eyes were just saying 'Bring me home, please?' Oh god, he was adorable. I wanted to die. How could you leave such a poor thing there? Gen had to drag me away. JUST LOOK AT HIM! HE KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING.

After we left (more like Gen dragged me away), we went to take the Monorail into Sentosa. Once we arrived, we started walking to the Trick Eye Museum.

Above is a map for reference if you wanna go! There's a 10% off on the website if you order your tickets online (apparently). Anyways, when we arrived it was pretty deserted. Go on weekdays if you want to get the best out of all of the exhibits. There were a lot of Hong Kong people but they were nice, I'm guessing they were exploring Sentosa or something.

But anyways, they have free selfie sticks (or monopods) for rental but it depends if they have any available at that moment. And they don't have toilets inside so pee before you go in ok? It's only one-time entry per ticket.

So we went in... get ready for pic spams!

It was really fun. Bring your camera! Anyways, then afterwards we left for the beach. Well, supposedly. On that particular day, the sun didn't come out. Then after that we passed by... Slappy Cakes. It's like another version of 'Nook D.I.Y House of Pancakes'. We decided to go in for like a short snack.

Just like teenagers... we drew dicks. We bought the buttermilk batter... it tasted so good?!?!?! I'm sure you see above the whole bunch of choc chips on that dick shaped pancake... I poured too much too fast, and Gen just facepalmed herself. HAHAHHAHAHA But ya we bought almond flakes, choc chips and banana slices (as sides) and total cost about $15+ only for some fun & somewhat filled bellies for me and her. Quite worth. I'd give 4/5 stars to this.

Oh then we (as planned), headed to Siloso beach, but till then the sun STILL wasn't out. We walked till almost the beach and then we spotted the Luge ride. We made an impulsive decision and then we went to buy a 3 time ride combo for $23. If you want more, they have a 5 ride combo for $33. The combos include the rides on the Skyride too. Here's a pic of us on the Skyride on the way up to take the Luge ride down. It was extremely fun. If you're looking for a day below around $60 (not incl food) of fun at Sentosa, this isn't bad either.

Since I last went, they added a new trail that's more curvy than the usual one. AKA for the thrill-seekers. Gen and I went super quick on the trail AHHAHA it was so fun, the wind was just hitting us in the face. SHIOK! Gen told me that her cousin braked so hard he flew off into the bushes and got a busted lip. So guys when the people teach you how to ride, please listen.

Also, if you get the stamp on your hand... (refer below) you can go to another queue (nearer to the right) that's for second timers, priority or VIP people cause you already know how to ride it anyways. Saves you some time.

Afterwards we went to spam Polaroids before leaving for Vivo to have dinner at Macs.

Such fun. Much trick eye. Many pancake. So luge. HAHHAHA. And Gen's parents came to pick us up and they sent me home. It was a really fun fun fun day tho.

So yesterday I took my last UT3 paper (math) and afterwards I headed back to school to get my O Level Certificate. Took a selfie with Father Barre and a pic of him too. Saw Ms Vino but didn't talk to her, and chit-chatted with Mr Francis who was really surprised to see me LOL.

I said bye after submitting my payment for overdue school fees. LOL

Then James and I went on a date at Bugis. He looks so handsome with his new earring?!?!?!?! Bye I'm in a puddle of feels. Sigh. Cutiepie. We went to watch TMNT cause I really wanted to see if it does suck HAHA (it does, don't watch it) and then we went to LAN until like 11pm. Met Cunen @ MBS to take the bus to the PSA building to have Macs for dinner. (LOL)

So today I woke up late again. Gen and I were supposed to go to Kallang Wave and check out the mall (cause I have never been there) but I woke at 11:30 and Gen decided to come over HAHHAHA she walked to my house. My bedhair looked like a lion today, it was so weird. We ate some rice and soup then I showered and Gen took a nap. LOL

OOTD today...

Then we headed out to Kallang Wave. At Stadium MRT we bumped into Robyn and waved hi to her before we departed for the mall. Bought a necklace, top and floppy hat at F21 :D While I was in the middle of shopping, Gen suddenly had a major craving for ice cream waffles. (Frankly, same) So we headed straight to Marble Slab and we had waffles!

She had red velvet and I had chocolate. I had to move the plate somewhere else to take this shot. Gen has that pic of me squatting down and etc. to get that shot... HAHAHA man, woes of having to take the perf shot (in my own opinion). We headed to NEX for Macs and to walk around. We ended up buying couple rings to (sort of) commemorate our 11 years of friendship. Such romance, much ring, many commitment HAHAHHA.

Oh and we walked past Bibigo and Gen was like "HEY, SIWON!" or whoever that was. So I walked backwards to check out the photos on the wall and the first one that caught my eye was Psy. So I was like "Oh, Psy!" sounds like sai HAHAHAH then some guy inside Bibigo or behind me idk according to Gen he laughed behind his hand.

We walked around, checked things out and then we left for home. Ultimately today was a fun day bc Gen and I talked about a lot of things and wow, we never run out of shit to talk about. Happy is me!!11!111!11!!!!1

Idk I hope this post was interesting for you. c: Till next time!
